R.I.P. Shae

Today is a very sad day for me. To begin with I am taking this certain medication to get rid of a stomach bacteria that I have and unfortunatly I am having almost every side effect, from nausea to dry mouth, metal taste in my mouth, dizziness, fatigue, low grade fever, you name it and I'm pretty much going through it. I had to get up this morning to take my daughter to school, and let me rewind back a bit.... I had recieved the pit bull puppy that I so dearly wanted, the only problem is I had to get her a few weeks early b/c her mom quit taking care of her. Anyway, I have been bottle feeding this dog for a few days and this morning her health just went down hill. I had to rush her to the vet, on my way down the hwy to the vets office I had my flashers on so that if cars in front of me seen my flashers they would move over and let me by. Then a state trooper saw me, pulled me over. He said "hey" and I said "hey, I'm trying to get my puppy to the vet, will you escort me?" and he said "oh, thats what you are doing" and I said "yes sir" and he said "well ma'am, I am not allowed to do that" he said " but I tell you what, follow right behind me ok" and I said "ok" and I followed him down 271 going 95 mph to the vets office. When I pulled into the parking lot of the vets office he jumped out of his trooper car and said "good luck ma'am" and I said "thank you" and I rushed into the vets office...only to be told my puppy had to be put to sleep. All in all, I just wanted you to know that there is one good police officer out there and he just so happened to be working the day I needed him. So, Mr. Officer....sorry I did not catch your name....I am truely grateful for you and your concern for me and my puppy. Thank you so much! That meant a lot to me. I just wish that my puppy would have made it, but she's with God now, my little angel in heaven, where so many of the people and animals I have loved before and still do are. So, I hope all of them are looking down on me and my children and know how much we truely love and miss them. God Bless!
